Antaran Among Business Leaders at DC Summit

The largest-ever gathering of small business owners in the U.S. took place in Washington DC this past week – and CARROT was there.

More than 2,200 business owners participated in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Summit to network, share best practices, and carry their message about the importance of supporting small businesses to their legislators.

CARROT Founder & CEO Michael Antaran, who completed the GS10kSB program in Detroit in 2014, took advantage of the opportunity to meet with Senator Gary Peters and Rep. Sander Levin of Michigan.

“This was a great program, and it was a tremendous opportunity to share our story with other business owners and leaders in Washington,” Antaran said.

CARROT and the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program

This past week, CARROT CEO Michael Antaran joined 31 other Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses alum, along with Michael Bloomberg, Warren Buffet, and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey in New York to usher in a new round of graduating entrepreneurs.

Recent graduate Jean Tang has written a tremendous article about her experience with the program, and the invaluable knowledge she's gained from participating in Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses. Click the link below to read her article on Forbes.

Bloomberg Coaching Session Feature

This past July Goldman Sachs and Bloomberg hosted a professional coaching session in New York for select alumni of their 10,000 Small Businesses program. CARROT was just one of 16 U.S. business invited to participate in the session, which included discussions and mentoring on IT, marketing, finance, and more.

At CARROT,  we seize every opportunity we get to grow, and the networking and mentorship provided by the coaching session allowed us to do just that. Watch the video above to see Goldman Sachs' feature on the session.
